Umayal Venugopal

Umayal Venugopal is a disciple of Swami Parthasarathy. She is a philosopher, teacher and speaker. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from the University of Jaffna. She started her career as an English teacher and later served as a translator in the Attorney General’s Department, Colombo. She has completed the three year residential course in Vedanta, a comprehensive course of study in self-development at the Vedanta Academy, India. She has been conducting Vedanta and Self- management programs for over a decade. Umayal has addressed various organisations including Lanka IOC PLC, Nielsen, Mega We Care, University Grants Commission, University of Colombo, University of Jaffna, Indian Cultural Centre. She has been featured on television, radio and the print media in Sri Lanka. Umayal is the Founder and Managing Trustee of the Vedanta Institute Colombo, a charitable trust dedicated to the study and dissemination of Vedanta in Sri Lanka.

Mikhil Agarwal

Mikhil Agarwal is a disciple of internationally eminent philosopher, Swami Parthasarathy. He has great interest in social activities and was working with several NGO’s from his college days. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade and Post graduate degree in International Trade from Pune University. After graduating, he became a dynamic member of the Export Import industry at the Hyundai, a Multi-national Corporation in Chennai for a short period. He has completed the three years residential course at the Vedanta Academy and dedicated himself to full - time study and research of Vedanta, the science of self-management. Mikhil conducts programs on Vedanta and Self-management which highlights Vedantic principles as a tool to achieve dynamic action and peace of mind together.
